Susan Baudoin Bistransin has extensive experience in education, primarily within the field of Family and Consumer Sciences. Since February 1986, Bistransin has served as the Personal Finance and Empowerment Coordinator and a teacher at Prince George's County Public Schools, focusing on Financial Literacy, Fashion Design, and Interior Design at Parkdale High School. Bistransin has also contributed as a Teacher Advisor for the Society for Financial Education & Professional Development, Inc. since 2014, participating in curriculum revisions and national teacher training for financial literacy. Additionally, Bistransin was involved with the Teacher Collaborative Committee at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond from August 2017 to June 2018 and served as a National Master Educator for the Take Charge Today Financial Literacy program from 2015 to 2018. Academic qualifications include a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from McDaniel College and two bachelor's degrees from Louisiana State University in Vocational Home Economics Education and Family and Consumer Sciences/Human Sciences.
