James Perina

James Perina currently serves as the Vice President of Finance and Director of Corporate Relations at the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers, where significant revenue generation has been achieved through an automated program for corporate sponsorships. James is also pursuing a degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering at Virginia Tech and has been recognized on the Dean's List for two semesters. In leadership roles, James presides over the Virginia Tech Chapter of the Construction Management Association of America and has gained practical experience as a construction management intern at ATCS, PLC, involved in major transportation projects and sustainability audits. Additional involvement includes membership in the Society of Hispanic and Professional Engineers and participation in diversity enhancement initiatives. Prior to these roles, James worked part-time at Moe's Southwest Grill.
