Amanda Winward

Amanda Winward currently serves as the Prizes & Awards Coordinator at the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM), a position held since January 2021. In this role, Amanda manages a comprehensive award cycle for over 60 prizes, oversees a travel awards program for over 300 students and early career individuals, and acts as a primary liaison for prize selection committees and award recipients. Prior experience includes a managerial position at Barnes & Noble College, where Amanda developed strategies to enhance department sales, managed inventory and customer interaction, and oversaw a team of over twenty staff members. Amanda earned a Bachelor's Degree in English with a focus on Creative Writing from the University of Delaware in 2016.
