Alysia Thind is a seasoned professional in people analytics with experience across various prestigious organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Analyst at Yext since December 2022, Alysia also contributes as a founding member of the Society for People Analytics since August 2024. Previous roles include Analyst in People Analytics at The New York Times from November 2020 to December 2022, and positions in People Operations & Analytics and as a People Analytics Intern at ViacomCBS from September 2018 to October 2020. Alysia began a career as a Compensation Summer Analyst at MUFG in 2018. Alysia holds a Master of Science in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from San Francisco State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with a minor in Business Administration from the University of California, Riverside.

Our mission is to empower excellence by providing resources, support, and opportunities that elevate the practice of people analytics across the globe. WHY WE STARTED In recent years, the field of people analytics has seen remarkable growth, with professionals eager to connect, learn, and advance their practices. However, despite the increase in meet-ups and gatherings, there has been a noticeable lack of consistency in protocol and content, with many events heavily reliant on vendor participation. Recognizing the need for a centralized, vendor-neutral space where practitioners of all levels can communicate, network, and grow, the Society for People Analytics was born.
