Michael Smith

Michael Smith is currently working as the Wilderness Character Monitoring Team Leader at the Society for Wilderness Stewardship. Michael has experience in environmental research and river restoration through their previous work at Peninsula Open Space Trust and the Marine Science Institute at UC Santa Barbara. Michael also has a background in quality control and research internships at various organizations such as Battelle and Fraunhofer USA. Michael holds a Master's Degree in Environmental Science and Management from UC Santa Barbara and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the University of Delaware.
