Tony Mazza is a seasoned professional in natural resource policy and environmental advocacy, currently serving as the Manager of Policy and Research at the Society of American Foresters since January 2022. Previously, Mazza held the position of Natural Resources Policy Specialist and worked as a Teaching Fellow at Yale Law School's Environmental Protection Clinic, supervising student teams and developing curricula on environmental policy issues. Experience includes roles at Sierra Club as a Legal Intern, where legal research and advocacy on federal environmental statutes were conducted, and at the Quiet Corner Initiative as a Forester, developing forest management plans. Mazza has also worked with EcoAgriculture Partners, contributed research at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law, and consulted for local governments on sustainable development. Educational qualifications include a Master of Forestry from Yale School of the Environment, a Doctor of Law from Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, and a Bachelor of Arts from Warren Wilson College.
