John W. Mogge Jr.

John W. Mogge Jr. serves as a Senior Consultant at JWMogge Consulting LLC, providing advisory services focused on sustainability and resiliency principles for the natural and built environment, drawing on four decades of diverse experience as an architect, planner, engineer, business leader, and educator. Over the years, John has held significant roles within the Society of American Military Engineers, including Past President and Chairman of the Board of the SAME Foundation, and has contributed to various leadership and committee positions. John’s previous experience includes serving as Solutions and Technology Director at Jacobs and holding executive roles at CH2M. John's military background includes 26 years as a Civil Engineer Colonel in the United States Air Force, culminating in a leadership position as Squadron Commander at Kunsan AB Korea. Academically, John holds a PhD in Economics of Sustainability from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master of Architecture and Planning from the University of Florida.
