Christy Davis

Christy Davis has extensive work experience at the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Christy served as the Chief Financial Officer from 2013 to the present, overseeing the organization's financial, membership, and human resource objectives. In this role, they were responsible for audits, budgets, cash management, financial policies, and internal controls. Christy also managed the hiring and onboarding process for personnel. Prior to this, they were the Director of Accounting, HR, and Membership from 2013 to 2015, where they directed membership recruitment and retention efforts and oversaw financial and human resource functions. From 2008 to 2012, Davis worked as an Accounting Manager at the same company.

Christy Davis completed their Bachelor's Degree in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of North Texas between 1997 and 1999. Christy then went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Accounting and Finance at the Naveen Jindal School of Management, UT Dallas, which they completed between 2010 and 2013.
