Aparna Mukherjee

Aparna Mukherjee currently serves as the Executive Director for the Society of Environmental Journalists since February 2024. Previously, Mukherjee held the position of Chief Programs Officer at Resolve Philly from December 2022 to February 2024. As a JSK Stanford Community Impact Fellow at Stanford University from September 2020 to August 2021, Mukherjee worked on solutions to pressing community issues. Other notable roles include contributing tech reporter for the Los Angeles Business Journal in 2020, and serving as an Entrepreneur in Residence at LA2050 in 2019. Mukherjee has also gained valuable experience as a FUSE Corps Executive Fellow with the City of Los Angeles, a digital strategist with Digimentors, Senior Adviser at The Paley Center for Media, Director of Operations at Grand Central Tech, and Social Media Editor at McKinsey & Company. Mukherjee's educational background includes an MS in Journalism and an MBA from Columbia University, along with a BS in English/Economics from Bryn Mawr College.
