Jasminka Criley has extensive work experience in the medical field. Jasminka started their career as an intern and resident in Internal Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Jasminka then went on to work as an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at UCLA Medical Center and as a Physician at Torrance Memorial Medical Center.
In 2000, Jasminka joined Stanford University School of Medicine as an MD, where they worked until 2008. During this time, they also served as an Associate Residency Program Director at St. Mary Medical Center CHW.
Jasminka has held various roles at St. Mary Medical Center, including Acting Residency Program Director, Acting Director of Medical Education, Academic Chief of Medicine, and Director of Continuous Medical Education. Jasminka also served as the Clerkships Site Director and Internal Medicine Clerkship and Electives Site Director. Additionally, they were the Director of Inpatient Teaching Services and an Associate Residency Program Director.
Jasminka has been actively involved in professional societies, including the California-Hawaii Society of General Internal Medicine (SGIM), where they served as the President-elect. Jasminka is also a member of the Society of Hospital Medicine and the American College of Physicians, where they have been elected as a Fellow.
In their spare time, Jasminka has been a member of the Women for Wishes Society at the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Jasminka Criley pursued their education in the field of medicine, specializing in oncology. Jasminka started their academic journey at the University of Rijeka, also known as Sveučilište u Rijeci, where they obtained their MD degree from 1985 to 1989. Following that, they continued their studies at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine as a research faculty member from 1991 to 1995, delving further into their passion for medicine and oncology.
