Michael Hofman

Michael Hofman is a Nuclear Medicine Physician at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre since June 2009, serving as the Director of the Prostate Cancer Theranostics and Imaging Centre of Excellence and PET Modality Lead. Since October 2013, Michael has held a professorship at the University of Melbourne's Sir Peter MacCallum Department of Oncology and also serves as a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine. Additionally, Michael is an International Associate Editor for the Journal of Nuclear Medicine and is involved with several editorial boards, including the Indian Journal of Nuclear Medicine and Cancer Imaging. Michael's prior experience includes roles at I-MED Network and Monash Health, alongside significant contributions to scientific committees such as the Australian Radiopharmaceuticals Trial Network. Michael holds multiple honors in medicine, including MBBS (Hons) and several fellowships, and completed corporate governance education with the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
