Iman Soltani, Ph.D., possesses extensive experience in research and development, particularly in the fields of polymers, plastics, and composites. Currently serving as the R&D & IP Lead at Axiom Group Inc., Iman also holds the position of Principal Engineer & Scientist at the University of Toronto, where responsibilities include leading initiatives in microcellular plastics and multifunctional composites. As Vice President of the Society of Plastics Engineers, Iman engages with a global network of nearly 20,000 plastics professionals. Previous roles include significant contributions at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and North Carolina State University, focusing on polymer processing and innovative materials development. Iman has a solid educational foundation, including a postdoctoral fellowship in Polymer and Fiber Engineering from the University of Minnesota, an MBA from Boston University, and a Ph.D. in Polymer & Fiber Science from North Carolina State University.
