Emily Montenigro currently serves as the President of the Northeastern Section of the Society of Women Engineers, where leadership and support are provided to a 100+ member organization focused on empowering women in engineering and technology. Previous roles include Vice President, National Conference Chair, Volunteer Chair, Assistant Treasurer, Publicity Chair, and Historian, each contributing to a range of professional development and community outreach initiatives. As an R&D Co-op at SiTration, Inc., Emily engineered silicon nanofiltration membranes, utilizing advanced deposition techniques in a cleanroom environment. Emily is pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering at Northeastern University, having graduated from St. Saviour High School in 2021.
