Mona Vakil

Mona Vakil is a Production Support Engineer at DuPont since September 2024, and a Project Manager and Senior Consultant at BOND Consulting Group, where responsibilities include advising local businesses on product line strategy and expansion. Involvement with the Society of Women Engineers includes serving as Internal Vice President and Professional Excellence Officer, organizing events like the Women in Leadership conference and the 2023 Engineering Games. As a Facilities Engineering Intern at Chevron, Mona engaged in economic evaluations for Carbon Capture facilities. Additional experience includes roles as a Resident Advisor at the University of Michigan and leadership positions within engineering teams, including a pressure subteam lead for the University of Michigan ChemE Car Team. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering at the University of Michigan, Mona has also contributed to research in high-temperature environments.
