Julie Matrat

Julie Matrat has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Julie currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Society6 since April 2023. Prior to this role, they were a Founding Member at Chief, starting in February 2020. Julie also has extensive experience at Leaf Group, where they held various positions, including EVP, General Manager of the Society6 Group from April 2021 to April 2023, SVP, General Manager of the Society6 Group from April 2019 to April 2021, Senior Vice President of Finance and Analytics from March 2018 to May 2020, and Vice President of Operations Finance and Analytics from March 2016 to February 2018.

Before joining Leaf Group, Julie worked at Yahoo! where they were the Director of Operations Finance and Analytics, contributing to strategic and analytical assessments of corporate initiatives, global reporting and analytics efforts, and supporting sales strategies in emerging markets. Julie was with Yahoo! from 2012 to 2016.

Julie's prior experience includes roles at Yahoo Inc, Pierre Fabre, Pricewaterhouse Coopers, and Disney Parks & Resorts, where they worked in business planning and operations finance, marketing analytics, project management, and strategic planning analysis, respectively. Julie held these positions from 2002 to 2011.

Julie Matrat attended ESSEC Business School from 1999 to 2003, where they completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Mathematics and Economics.
