Rocco Abbattista

Rocco Abbattista has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in different companies. Starting with their most recent position at SOCOTEC Italia, they serve as the Head of Business Unit Marine and International Business Development Manager. In this role, they are responsible for developing the growth strategy of the business unit, managing full P&L accountability, and overseeing various functions within the unit. Prior to this, Rocco held positions at Rana Diving, RanaWorks, RES MARINA S.R.L., and EMER SpA, where they gained experience as a Sales Manager, Project Manager, Project Engineer, and Test Engineer, respectively.

Rocco Abbattista's education history begins in 2003 when they attended the Università Politecnica delle Marche and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Marine Biology in 2006. Rocco continued their education at the same institution and completed another Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2006 to 2009. Following this, Rocco pursued their Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2009 to 2012 at the Università Politecnica delle Marche.

In 2017, Rocco enrolled at MIP Politecnico di Milano and completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 2019. During their MBA program, Rocco focused on global sales development and leadership. These academic experiences, spanning from marine biology to mechanical engineering and eventually business administration, showcase Rocco's diverse educational background and interests.
