Alexey Shcherbak

Alexey Shcherbak has extensive work experience in the software development field. Alexey has worked at various companies in different roles throughout their career.

Starting in 2002, Alexey worked as a Software Engineer at VNIINS V.V. Solomatina until 2005. Alexey then joined ABBYY and held multiple positions, including Software Engineer from 2005 to 2010, and Head of FineReader Internet Development Group from 2011 to 2012.

From 2013 to 2015, Alexey worked at Kloud Solutions as a Development Consultant, where they were involved in various client projects as a full-stack developer.

In 2015, they joined Drawboard as a Cloud Architect, contributing to the development of their Drawboard PDF software, which was pre-installed on Microsoft's Surface 3.

Alexey then worked at Liberty Financial Pty Ltd as a Software Developer from 2019 to 2020, followed by a role as Lead Engineer at OneTwo Home Loans from 2020 to 2021.

In 2021, they joined MatchBox Exchange - Container Logistics as a Senior Software Engineer before moving on to Socotra in 2022, where they currently serve as a Senior Software Developer.

In addition to their technical expertise, Alexey has experience owning and managing a company, as they were the Company Owner of Sharp Ops Pty Ltd in 2019.

Alexey Shcherbak completed their Specialist degree in Information Security at the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI (Moscow Engineering Physics Institute) from 1998 to 2004. Alexey then pursued their post-graduate studies in Information Technologies at the same university from 2004 to 2007.
