Levent Engin

Levent Engin has a diverse range of work experience spanning several industries and roles. Levent is currently working as a Test Team Lead for SOCRadar® Extended Threat Intelligence, starting in February 2022.

Prior to this, Levent worked as a Technical Lead at Gofody - VinBilisim from September 2019 to February 2023. During this time, they were involved in the development of a food ordering and courier tracking system using Python and React. Levent also worked with Docker, Docker Swarm, Jenkins, and Bitbucket for CI/CD processes.

Before joining Gofody, Levent was a Python Django Professional and ReactJS Frontend developer at Hijyen Akademisi Eğitim, Danışmanlık ve İK Ltd. Şti. from October 2015 to August 2019. Levent contributed to the development of open-source software for control, audit, and training in hospitality, health, and catering sectors.

From September 2011 to April 2015, Levent worked as a Senior Consultant at DataMarket, specializing in enterprise content management (ECM) projects. Levent was responsible for delivering ECM solutions and managing software projects.

Levent also has experience as an IT Business Unit Director at BNK Teknoloji from March 2010 to August 2011. Levent focused on ECM solutions, unified communications solutions, and distant learning solutions.

Prior to their role at BNK Teknoloji, Levent worked as a Project Manager at KodA from May 2006 to November 2010. Levent managed document scanning outsourcing and ECM software projects and coordinated customer support activities.

Levent's earlier experience includes working as a Project Manager at SPSS Turkey from September 2000 to August 2006, where they developed data mining and statistical applications for major accounts in the banking, insurance, and retail sectors.

Levent also served as Country Manager at Burç Electronics from January 1995 to January 2000, focusing on electronic contracting projects in Central Asia, and as a Sales Engineer at Saudico Electronic Systems in Saudi Arabia from June 1994 to June 1995, selling IBM peripherals and LAN/WAN solutions.

Levent started their career as a Programmer and System Analyst at Intertech AŞ from January 1992 to January 1994, working on banking and leasing systems using Adabas Natural programming environment, C programming language, and embedded Cobol.

Levent Engin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Boğaziçi University, where they studied from 1983 to 1987. Levent then pursued a Master of Arts in Economics from the same institution, completing their studies from 1987 to 1991. Prior to their university education, Levent attended Kadıköy Anadolu High School in Istanbul. The specific dates of their high school attendance are unknown.
