Lawrence Lai

Lawrence Lai is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in business development and strategic partnerships, currently serving as Co-Chair of the Outreach Committee at SODA Foundation since December 2019. In addition, Lawrence has held the position of Head of Global Alliances and Business Development for Enterprise Storage Products at Futurewei Technologies, Inc. since August 2016. Previously, Lawrence was Director of Business Development at Bitcasa, where responsibilities included forming key partnerships with major OEMs and managing licensing deals. Lawrence also has a rich background in strategic alliances from roles at ACCESS Systems Americas and PalmSource, as well as engineering expertise gained during tenure at PalmSource China and Apple Computer, Inc. Lawrence Lai holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering from Northeastern University.
