Lex Llanes

Lex Llanes has a diverse work experience that includes roles in software engineering as well as leadership positions in the retail industry. They began their career as a Sales Floor Team Member at Target in October 2014 and then progressed to become an Operation Team Leader, responsible for various departments such as Health Beauty and Accessories, Cosmetics, Over The Counter Supplies, Pets Supplies, and Paper Supplies. In this role, they achieved company growth goals through training, coaching, and implementing efficient routines. Lex also served as a Service and Engagement Leader at Target, where they managed the overall guest experience and collaborated with security to ensure guest safety. They were involved in all aspects of store operations and trained team members to provide exceptional guest interaction. Lex then transitioned to the tech industry, working as a Software Engineer in Training at Techtonica, gaining hands-on, project-based, collaborative software engineering learning experience with a focus on full-stack JavaScript. They are currently a Software Engineer Apprentice at Soda Health.

Lex Llanes began their education in 2016 at City College of San Francisco, where they pursued an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Accounting. They successfully completed their education in this field in 2021.
