Mats Ajpe has a strong background in marketing and has held various management positions throughout their career. Mats currently serves as the Nordic Marketing Director at SODASTREAM NORDICS AB, where they lead the marketing department and is a member of the Nordic management team. Mats is responsible for the company's communication and advertising strategies, as well as overseeing Nordic e-commerce operations.
Prior to their current role, Mats worked at Dyson as the Head of Marketing - Nordics, where they led the Nordic marketing department and was a member of the Nordic management team. Mats was responsible for all aspects of Dyson's communication, including media and instore execution. Mats also served as the Marketing Manager for the Nordics at Dyson.
Before joining Dyson, Mats worked at MediaMarkt Sverige as a Senior Marketing Communications Manager, and at Media-Saturn Sweden as a Production Manager/Marketing and later as an Online Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for various marketing and communication tasks, including development and content for websites, online/digital marketing, creative concepts, and budgeting and media planning.
Mats began their career at Hi3G Access AB as an Information & Marketing Coordinator, where they gained experience in coordinating information and marketing activities.
Mats Ajpe pursued their education at Växjö University from 1998 to 2002, earning a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies. Additionally, in the year 2000, they briefly attended Gotland University to study Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia, although the degree obtained in this field is unknown.
