Julius Alexander IV has held a variety of roles in the technology industry since 2011. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as Tech Support for the District 87 Technology Department, where they held a position of leadership over new student workers and directed small task-based teams of student workers on various jobs and problems around the district. In 2013, they held an Android Camp position at Google. Julius then worked as an IT Student Systems Intern at State Farm in 2013, where they developed an Excel macro and formulated requirements and designed and developed a semi-functional prototype for a new tool. In 2014, they worked as an EP Intern at Google, where they developed a fuzz tester for MySQL. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Google, where they rewrote Chrome's spellchecker to accommodate multiple languages simultaneously. Julius then worked as a Software Engineer at PlanGrid from 2016 to 2019, and then as a Software Engineer at Enlitic from 2019 to 2021. Julius is currently a Senior Software Engineer at Sofar Ocean.

Julius Alexander IV attended Bloomington High School from 2008 to 2012 and then went on to receive a Bachelor's Degree in Computer & Systems Engineering and Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute between 2012 and 2016.
