Edmund Richards

Edmund Richards is an experienced engineering manager and software engineer with a diverse background in software development and consulting. Currently, Edmund serves as an Engineering Manager at SoFi since April 2021, having previously held roles as a Staff Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer within the same company. Prior experience includes a Senior Software Engineer role at Intuit, where involvement included Quickbooks Invoicing, and software development positions at Ticketmaster, Ondema, and Geotiller, where Edmund contributed to projects ranging from event auditing to production scheduling software. As a co-founder of Geotiller and owner of Advectus, Edmund also offered consulting in mobile app development and geolocation solutions. Additional experience includes consulting work at t4 Spatial and substantial tenure at Cisco in various engineering roles, contributing to operations and network services. Edmund holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from California State University, Long Beach.
