Sterling Zumbrunn

Sterling Zumbrunn is the Senior Director of EPD, ECI at SoFi. Sterling has over 10 years of experience in product management and has held leadership positions at Skype, SmartThings, and Bluechip Systems.

Sterling has a track record of success in developing and executing product strategies that have resulted in significant growth for their companies. At Skype, they led the Core UX and Engagement teams and drove the evolution of the company's iOS, Android, Windows, Mac, and Linux client software. Their work resulted in Skype becoming one of the most popular messaging apps in the world with over 1 billion downloads.

At SmartThings, Sterling was responsible for partnerships with leading smart home products including Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, Philips Hue smart lights, Netgear Arlo cameras, Yale locks, and many more. Sterling helped grow the company from a startup to being acquired by Samsung.

At Bluechip Systems, Sterling worked directly with the President to develop products and business plans for the company's next generation of security products. Sterling also worked with Engineering teams on developing apps that offered high levels of data encryption.

Sterling has a proven track record in product management and is a leader in their field. Sterling is passionate about developing products that improve people's lives and make their homes safer and more secure.

Sterling Zumbrunn's educational career began at Princeton High School. Sterling then went on to study Art Theirtory and Visual Arts at Princeton University, where they earned their B.A.
