Ari Pöyhtäri

CEO, Co-Founder, Board Member at Sofia Digital

Ari Pöyhtäri has a diverse range of work experience. Ari co-founded and served as CEO and board member of Sofia Digital Ltd. from January 2008 to the present. Prior to that, they held the position of Vice President, Co-Founder, and Board Member from May 2000 to December 2007. Ari also worked as an Academic Mentor at the University of Tampere from 2010 to 2011. Before that, Ari was a Research Manager at the University of Tampere, Hypermedia Laboratory, where they focused on interactive media and TV research from January 1996 to May 2000. Ari began their career as a Researcher at the University of Jyväskylä from January 1992 to December 1994.

Ari Pöyhtäri attended the University of Jyväskylä from 1988 to 1993, where they completed their degree in Social Policy, earning an M.Soc.Sc. Ari then pursued further education at the University of Jyväskylä from 1993 to 1994, obtaining a Lic.Soc.Sc. degree in Sociology. Subsequently, from 1995 to 1996, Ari studied at the University of Tampere, focusing on Multimedia and Computer Science without completing a specific degree.
