Virpi Hentunen

Virpi Hentunen is the current Head of Business Support at Sofigate. Prior to their current position, they were the Talousjohtaja and CFO at Lääkärikeskus Aava Oy from December 2011 to June 2019. There, they were responsible for the accounting and finance of the Aava group as well as the human resources functions from 2014 to 2018. Virpi was also a member of the management team and had a close working relationship with the Board of Directors and owners of the company. Before their work at Lääkärikeskus Aava Oy, Virpi Hentunen was the CFO at Konica Minolta Business Solutions Finland Oy from August 2006 to December 2011. There, they were responsible for the accounting, finance, and logistics functions of the company. This included managing daily operations in bookkeeping, accounting, invoicing, A/P, A/R and cash management, taxes, auditing, budgeting, financing, and logistics. Virpi was also a member of the management team and managed 10 employees. During their time at Konica Minolta Business Solutions Finland Oy, they implemented a new ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics Navision) for the Finnish company as the local Project Manager. Virpi led a project team of seven Key Users and the local IT partner as part of a European-wide project to unify the ERP solutions of Konica Minolta companies. The project was completed on time in 9 months according to the plan.

Virpi Hentunen has an MBA in finance and accounting from Helsingin kauppakorkeakoulu.

They are on a team with Mikael Nurmi - Managing Director, Denmark, Tuuli Kousa - CMO, Head of Marketing, Communications and Sustainability, and Sanna Siniketo - SVP Business Operations. Virpi Hentunen reports to Sami Karkkila, CEO.
