Matt Andraws is a seasoned hotel management professional with extensive experience in the hospitality industry. Currently serving as the Hotel Manager at Sofitel Melbourne On Collins since April 2018, Matt has successfully implemented a return-to-business plan post-COVID-19 and led a comprehensive renovation of hotel rooms to enhance guest satisfaction. With a proven track record as an Acting General Manager, Matt achieved a 40% increase in profitability during Q1 2024 and fostered strategic financial management. Matt's career includes significant roles such as Cluster General Manager at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, where Matt contributed to the growth of a hotel portfolio from 3 to over 15 locations, and various management positions within Intercontinental Hotels Group.
