Angel Petrov

Angel Petrov has extensive experience in information technology and management, currently serving as the Country Information Systems and Technology Leader and Country CIO at Veolia since September 2014. Prior to this role, Angel held several key positions at Sofiyska voda, including Acting CIO, Senior Manager of IT Operations, and Manager of IT Infrastructure. Angel’s career also includes senior management roles in IT Infrastructure and Security at VIVACOM from December 2008 to December 2010, and a progressive tenure at BTC from June 1996 to November 2008, culminating in the position of Network Security Manager. Angel began the professional journey as a Research Associate at the Technical University of Sofia from November 1993 to June 1996.
