Vassil Trenev

Vassil Trenev has held various executive positions throughout their career. Vassil has served as the Executive Director of Sofiyska voda, operated by Veolia, since June 2018. Prior to this role, they worked as the Deputy Executive Director of Sofiyska voda from January 2017 to June 2018.

Before joining Sofiyska voda, Trenev was the Executive Director and Board member of Municipal bank Asset management from 2008 to July 2018. Vassil also served as the Deputy Executive Director of Toplofikacia Sofia E.A.D. from August 2014 to January 2017.

Earlier in their career, Trenev held positions in Municipal bank PLC as a Member of the Management Board from April 2006 to July 2014, and as the Executive Director and Member of the Management Board from April 2006 to November 2011. Vassil was also the Executive Director and Chairman of the Management Board of Toplina AD Pension Insurance Company from August 2007 to December 2009.

Trenev began their career as the Head of Information Technologies Division at Encouragement Bank AD in January 2002 and served in this role until April 2006.

Vassil Trenev obtained their Master's Degree in Accounting and Control from South-West University "Neofit Rilski" Blagoevgrad, which they completed from 2002 to 2006. Prior to this, they pursued a Doctoral Degree in Technology and Processing of Plastics at the Technical University of Sofia from 1994 to 1998. Vassil also attended the Technical University of Sofia from 1991 to 1993, where they undertook an Additional special subject in Pedagogy and New Teaching Methods. Vassil Trenev completed their Higher education with a M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Sofia, which spanned from 1988 to 1993. Vassil'ssecondary education was obtained at the Kyustendil Region School of Mathematics, where they specialized in Computer Operator/ Programmer from 1982 to 1986.
