Daniel McFadden is a Climbing Coach at Touchstone Climbing since March 2023, where responsibilities include leading youth climbing drills and promoting both athletic and social skills in the local climbing community. Since February 2023, Daniel has also served as a Substitute Teacher for the Oakland Unified School District, instructing various subjects including science, math, and music. Additionally, Daniel has been tutoring high school and college students in mathematics, physics, and chemistry at SoFlo SAT Tutoring since October 2021. Previous experiences include a Software Development Intern role at NOAA Fisheries, developing a web application for conservation efforts, and a Research Intern position at the University of California, Berkeley, analyzing datasets related to the earth's magnetosphere. Daniel holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics and Mathematics from Reed College, along with previous education at Georgetown University and a College Preparatory school.
