Robert Kenny

Robert Kenny is the current Director of Sales for Furniture at Soft-Tex International. Robert has held this position since August of 2020 and has been with the company for a little over a year. Prior to their current role, Kenny was the Sales Director at Soft-Tex International. In this role, they were responsible for driving new sales growth, maintaining and growing a portfolio of accounts, and shaping and overseeing strategic account management duties.

Kenny has been successful in securing sales and agreements within an extremely challenging environment during the first two months at Soft-Tex with multiple large-scale retailers including Ashley Furniture Industries eCommerce business. Robert has alsoAggregated pricing, imagery and descriptions into sales presentations for major retailers while working with merchants and distributors to forecast demand for product inventories necessary to meet revenue goals.

In their current role as Director of Sales for Furniture at Soft-Tex International, Kenny is responsible for sell Soft-Tex brands, as well as its corresponding and proprietary sleep technologies across all product lines. Robert also develops go-to-market strategies while creating and executing a rollout strategy for broad market penetration within the furniture and sleep channel for existing and newly acquired brands. Additionally, they advise Soft-Tex product development and leadership teams regarding product needs ranging from aesthetics, SKU counts, packaging and digital assets in a manner that communicates a clear brand vision.

The educational career for Robert Kenny includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and an Associate in Occupational Studies in Hotel & Restaurant Management from the Katharine Gibbs School.

Robert Kenny reports to Chris Marsh, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer. They work with Eric Hasper - Director of Creative, Joel Blanton - Video Production Analyst, and Katie Burr - eCommerce Manager.
