Cindy Jin is currently a partner at Softbank Ventures Asia. Prior to their current position, they worked as an associate at Merrill Lynch from June 2011 to November 2012. In this role, they evaluated and executed trades covering listed and over-the-counter index and single stock derivatives products to institutional investors. Cindy also generated and promoted trade ideas using BAML research reports to institutional investor clientele. In addition, they oversaw post-trade activities to streamline internal workflows and client interface as well as to improve accuracy.
From March 2013 to March 2014, Cindy was a director at D3Jubilee where they provided management consulting and financial advisory services to social enterprises. Cindy also identified overseas start-ups with shared common vision, evaluated and co-invested as an early-stage investor. Furthermore, Cindy produced in-depth company reports and detailed valuations and analyses for investor due diligence. Lastly, they collaborated with entrepreneurs, foundations, academia and NGOs to strengthen the environment for impact investments.
In August 2010, Cindy participated in the One-Month Summer Global Management Immersion Experience Program as an associate at MORGAN CREEK CAPITAL MANAGEMENT ASIA LIMITED.
Cindy Jin graduated from Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service and then went on to earn their Master of Business Administration at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
