Rebecca Monk

Rebecca Monk is the Chief People Officer at Softcat. Prior to this, they served as the HR Director for Universal Pictures International, Head of Central Resourcing at Hutchison 3G, and a Consultant at Imprint Search and Selection and Chemistry Recruitment.

Rebecca has over fifteen years of experience in Human Resources and recruitment. Rebecca is an expert in talent acquisition and management, organizational development, and employee relations. Rebecca is passionate about creating an inclusive and diverse workplace where everyone can thrive.

Under Rebecca's leadership, Softcat has been named one of the Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For in the UK for six consecutive years.

Rebecca Monk studied Management Studies with French at the University of Nottingham, where they achieved a BA Hons. Rebecca then went on to study Business and Management at IÉSEG School of Management, before completing an MSc in HRM & HRD at Nottingham Trent University, achieving a Pass with Commendation. Rebecca began their educational career at Leicester High School for Girls.

They are on a team with Richard Wyn Griffith - Chief Commercial Officer, Debra Coady - Legal Director and General Counsel, and Rob Parkinson - CIO. Their manager is Graeme Watt, Executive Director and Chief Executive.
