Agiri Abraham Jr.

Agiri Abraham Jr. has a diverse work experience in various technology-related roles. Agiri started their career as a Software Development Engineer, working as a self-employed professional. During this time, they gained critical understanding across multiple business domains and developed projects solving complex business problems for clients. In 2018, they joined the Node.js Foundation as a Top Level Committee Member. Agiri continued to expand their expertise by joining Ably as a Full-stack Expert Network, where they worked until 2019. In the same year, they also became a CPC Member at the OpenJS Foundation. Agiri then joined Softcom Limited, where they held several roles including Software Engineer and Team Lead in the Payments (Eyowo) department. In these positions, they contributed to the development of backend solutions, simplified APIs, and led the engineering team. Additionally, they served as the Team Lead for DevX (Engineering) at Softcom, where they maintained public engineering platforms, organized developer-focused events, and worked with the media and communications team to enhance Softcom's reputation as a thought leader in African engineering.

From 2015 to 2017, Agiri Abraham Jr. attended the National Institute of Information Technology, where they pursued a Professional Diploma in Computer Software Engineering.
