Pmp® Hassan Elrouby

Hassan ElRouby, PMP®, has a diverse range of work experience spanning over two decades. Hassan began their career as a Teacher Assistant at Cairo University while also working as a Senior Java Software Engineer at ITWorx. In these roles, they taught various computer science courses and developed software for government agencies and industrial sites.

Hassan then joined IBM as an Application Developer, where they served as a team lead and managed the integration layer for a core banking system. Hassan later moved on to Vodafone, where they worked as a Project Manager and System Analyst. In this role, they managed multiple Oracle portal-based projects and led a digital transformation project for Vodafone's sales application.

After their time at Vodafone, Hassan joined the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) as a Project Manager and later as a Technical Program Manager. At RTA, they directed the build of an RTA licensing system and led the strategic direction for department projects and systems.

Hassan then joined Tradeling as a Technical Delivery Manager, where they built the delivery and release process for the development team and managed a large group of developers and QAs. Hassan also held roles as a Senior Technical Program Manager and Senior Technical Product Manager at Tradeling, where they managed the development process, built product roadmaps, and coordinated with various teams to ensure alignment.

Currently, Hassan is working as a Project Director at Softec Technologies, where they are responsible for overseeing projects and ensuring their successful completion.

Throughout their career, Hassan has displayed strong project management skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams. Hassan is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®).

Hassan ElRouby, PMP®, completed their Bachelor of Applied Science - BASc degree in Computer Science from Cairo University, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. In 2015, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI). Additionally, they hold a certification in Communication Skills, obtained in 2006 from an undisclosed institution.
