Ian Freeman

Ian Freeman has over 20 years of experience in software development and engineering. Ian began their career at Nortel in 1998 as an Application Developer and worked there for over 10 years. In 2009, Ian joined SOFTEL Communications Inc. as a Team Leader in Software Development and Engineering. Ian held this position until 2016, when they were promoted to Director of Software Development. Ian currently holds this role and has been with SOFTEL for over 10 years.

Ian Freeman earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Western University, where they attended from 1995 to 2000. In addition to a formal education, they have obtained various certifications including Avaya Certified Support Specialist - ACSS from Avaya Inc., Certified Implementation Partner IVR Developer and Certified Implementation Partner Integrations from NICE inContact, Genesys Cloud Certified Associate from Genesys, and MCSA: Office 365 from Microsoft.
