Daphne Liu has a diverse range of work experience, starting in 2004 as an HR Director in the Asia Pacific Region for MetLife. Daphne then went on to become the Chief Human Resources Officer for Sino-US United MetLife Insurance Company Limited, delivering consistent double-digit growth for the two joint ventures and earning recognition as one of the best companies to work for in China.

In 2011, they joined MetLife as the AVP of Sales Operations in the Americas, where they were responsible for driving growth through M&A, capital management, strategic relationships, and customer experience management. Daphne also served as the AVP of Global Talent Management in both New York City and Tokyo.

Daphne then transitioned to Anbang Americas/VIVAT Verzekeringen as the Managing Director of HR, focusing on talent, digital HR, employee engagement, and cultural change initiatives within the insurance, banking, commercial real estate, and hospitality industries.

Daphne later joined S.F. EXPRESS CO. LTD as the Chief Talent & Culture Officer for the Americas, where they oversaw talent and culture development strategies in the U.S. and Latin America.

Daphne's experience also includes co-founding Delta-V.ai, a company that provides human capital consulting and interim leadership services to technology startups and financial services firms. Daphne specializes in agile organization, future workforce, talent ecosystem, digital transformation, change management, and merger & acquisition.

Additionally, Daphne served as an Official Member of the Forbes New York Business Council and currently works as the US CEO of Digital Transformation & Change Management at Softescu, where they focus on utilizing technologies to engage audiences and deliver superior digital experiences. Daphne is also a co-founder of OpenStory, a Softescu venture that offers an AI-empowered digital content management platform. Most recently, they joined Future Fintech Labs as a Human Resources Advisor in the People & Culture department.

Daphne Liu has pursued various educational programs and certifications throughout their career. Daphne attended Harvard Business School, where they completed Executive Leadership Programs in Going Global/Strategy & Markets/Leading Change. Daphne also enrolled in the Master of Arts Program in Journalism at the University of Maryland. Additionally, Daphne participated in the Women's Consortium Leadership Program at Smith College and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Foreign Languages & Literature from National Sun Yat-Sen University.

In terms of certifications, Daphne has completed several courses. Daphne obtained the Crafting Questions to Make Better Decisions certification from LinkedIn in February 2022 and the Learning Bitcoin and Other Cryptocurrencies certification from LinkedIn in August 2021. In 2018, they acquired the Ram Charan on Coaching High Potentials certification, also from LinkedIn. Daphne has also obtained certifications in Coaching & Counseling/Leadership Development (from Development Dimensions International), Cultural Orientations Indicator (from Berlitz Corporation), Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (from CPP, Inc.), Six Sigma (Green Belt) (from the Institute of Industrial Engineers), and Strategic Sales & Key Account Management (from Miller Heiman).
