David Barley

David Barley has extensive work experience in the technology industry, with a focus on system engineering, solutions architecture, and management roles. David is currently working as a Senior System Engineer at DZ Solutions. Previously, they held the position of Lead Solutions Architect at SoftIron in 2021. From 2020 to 2021, they served as a Storage Software Consumption Architect at IBM. Prior to that, they were the Regional Services Director, APAC at Nexenta by DDN from 2014 to 2020. David also has experience at Dell, where they held the roles of Director Global Imaging and Director Storage Enterprise Strategists - LEA from 2009 to 2014. David co-founded Casdex, Inc. and served as the CTO from 2007 to 2013. David has also worked in various technical roles at AllianceBernstein, DataCenter Technologies, and TD Waterhouse.

David Barley is currently pursuing a degree in Information Management with a focus on Computer Science at Arizona State University from 2020 to 2024. David previously attended the University of Chicago, where they studied Computer and Information Sciences, General. In addition to their education, David has obtained multiple certifications in various IBM storage and data-related subjects.
