Aruna Amarasekara

Aruna Amarasekara is an accomplished professional in logistics and supply chain management, currently serving as the Group Head of Logistics at Softlogic Holdings PLC since April 2022, with previous roles including Head of Logistics and Senior Manager - Physical Distribution. Prior to this position, Aruna held the title of Distribution Center Manager at Softlogic GLOMARK and Manager - Warehouse & Distribution at Shaw Wallace Ceylon Limited. Aruna has also gained extensive experience at ABUISSA HOLDING, John Keells Logistics, Logiwiz Ltd., and Global Transportation & Logistics (pvt) Ltd. In terms of education, Aruna holds an MBA in Logistics Management from General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University, an Advanced Diploma in Business Management from NIBM, and a Professional Diploma in Supply Chain Management from CINEC Maritime Campus.
