Dishan Chaminda

Dishan Chaminda has a diverse work experience in the insurance industry. Dishan currently holds the position of Senior Business Executive at Softlogic Life since January 2023. Prior to this, they were an Insurance Sales Associate at the same company from September 2021 to December 2022.

Before joining Softlogic Life, Dishan worked at Arpico Insurance PLC. Dishan served as an Insurance Executive, handling Life New Business Underwriting and Policy Holder Servicing, from December 2020 to September 2021. From December 2015 to December 2020, they held the role of Insurance Officer, responsible for Life New Business Underwriting and Claims Handling.

Dishan began their insurance career at Softlogic Life in 2014. Dishan started as an Insurance Assistant, specializing in Policy Holder Servicing, from December 2014 to December 2015. Prior to this role, they worked as an Insurance Assistant, focusing on Branch Operations, from March 2014 to December 2014.

Dishan Chaminda completed a Bachelor of Science in Management (BSc.(Hons)Management) from University College Dublin from 2010 to 2014. In 2011 to 2012, they pursued a Higher Diploma in Business Management from the National Institute of Business Management (NIBM - Sri Lanka). Dishan also obtained an Advanced Diploma in Business Management from the same institute from 2010 to 2011. Additionally, in 2015 to 2016, they earned a Licentiate Certificate from the Insurance Institute of India.
