Kavi Rajapaksha has a diverse and extensive work experience in marketing and brand management.

Kavi currently holds the position of Chief Marketing Officer at Softlogic Life, where they are responsible for brand strategy, brand building, channel marketing, media management, sustainability initiatives, and research. Kavi has been instrumental in the growth of Softlogic Life, which has risen from the 5th position in 2017 to become the third largest life insurance brand in Sri Lanka. Before their tenure at Softlogic Life, Kavi worked at Unilever, where they held the positions of Senior Brand Manager, Brand Manager Astra, and Assistant Brand Manager Vaseline. During their time at Unilever, they successfully managed the relaunch of the Astra brand after a factory fire incident, overcoming significant challenges and restoring the brand's market dominance. Kavi also led the relaunch and growth initiatives for the Vaseline brand in Sri Lanka, including the introduction of new product propositions.

Kavi's work experience also includes a management trainee role at Unilever, where they gained valuable foundational knowledge and skills in marketing.

Kavi Rajapaksha completed their Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry Special- Nano chemistry (Final thesis) from the University of Colombo between 2007 and 2011. Kavi then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business administration from Cardiff Metropolitan University, studying from 2014 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended the Institute of Chemistry from 2006 to 2010, earning an Ichem.c 1st class hon (chem special) degree in Chemistry.

In terms of primary and secondary education, Kavi Rajapaksha attended Visakha Vidyalaya from 1999 to 2006, with a focus on Biology/Biological Sciences, General. Additionally, they studied at Musaeus College from 1993 to 1998, though specific details regarding degrees or fields of study during this time are unavailable.
