Marc Nyholm Bulow

Marc Nyholm Bulow is the current DevOps Team Leader at Softpay. Prior to this role, they were a DevOps Engineer at Billy Regnskabsprogram from April 2020 to October 2021. In this role, they were responsible for managing the platform and taking it to the next level. Marc also practiced and taught SRE methods, monitored using Datadog, and automated and implemented by code where possible. Additionally, they Terraform'ed existing and new services and moved the platform from US to EU with close to zero downtime. Marc also designed the platform for the upcoming bank offer.

Before their role at Billy Regnskabsprogram, Bulow was a Site Reliability Engineer at Trustpilot from July 2015 to March 2020. In this role, they built tools and automation around AWS to ensure fast pace for our product teams. Marc also managed infrastructure for our micro services, used AWS extensively, and proposed best practice for other teams (tooling and architecture). Additionally, they explored other technologies, recently Fargate, Kubernetes, GCP, Go, GitOps and more.

Bulow's first role was as a System Administrator at Danish Film Institute from April 2010 to June 2015.

Marc Nyholm Bulow has a Master of IT from the IT University of Copenhagen, where they studied IT Management and Strategy. Marc also has a BSc from Copenhagen Business School in Business Administration and Computer Science.

Marc Nyholm Bulow works with Nedim Uzunalic - Android Developer, Ebbe Pedersen - Senior Backend Developer, and Christian Lauth - QA Engineer. Their manager is Craig Jacoby (Interim), VP of Engineering.
