J-M Erlendson has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 2006, they worked as a Junior Mechanical Designer at Rohwedder, where they designed components and assemblies for production lines. In 2010, Erlendson worked as a Consultant at CGI and Hydro One, providing consultation services. J-M also worked as a Consultant for the Ontario Education Collaborative Marketplace (OECM) during the same period.
In 2011, Erlendson joined Software AG as a GCS ARIS Consultant, specializing in ARIS and Alfabet tools. J-M later became a System Engineer in the ARIS-Alfabet Tiger Team. J-M excelled in these roles and was selected for the leadership team on the Change Network, focusing on strategic culture change. Erlendson continued to progress in the company, becoming a Senior Systems Engineer for the ARIS-Alfabet TIGER Team and eventually a Transformation Engineering Lead. In this role, they became a methodology and platform expert for business and IT transformation, mentored and coached internal teams and clients, and became a speaker and digital evangelist for evidence-based decision-making in process and architecture transformation. J-M also achieved President's Club recognition in 2020 and 2021.
Erlendson's diverse experience also includes being the General Manager and Chairman of the Board for the SING! The Toronto International Vocal Arts Festival, where they set strategic direction and managed high-level partnerships. In 2021, they began working as a Co-Host for What's Your Baseline?, a role that is ongoing.
J-M Erlendson completed their education with a High School Diploma from Bayview Glen. J-M then pursued higher education at the University of Toronto, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Mechanical Engineering from 2003 to 2008. Later, J-M Erlendson continued their studies at the same university and received a Masters of Engineering in Manufacturing and Process Management from 2008 to 2010.
