Daniel Pono Takamori

Daniel Pono Takamori has extensive experience in community management and engineering within the open-source software industry. Currently serving as Community Manager at Software Freedom Conservancy since May 2021, Daniel previously held roles as Release Engineer at The Linux Foundation and Site Reliability Engineer at The Apache Software Foundation. Daniel started in the field as a Student Systems Administrator at Oregon State University Open Source Lab from November 2012 to December 2015. Daniel holds a degree in Mathematics with a focus on Mathematics and Physics from Oregon State University, obtained between 2012 and 2016, along with partial studies in Mathematics from the same institution.
