Joep Mertens has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Joep started their career as an Account Manager at Actief Werkt! in 2008, where they were responsible for sales in the midden-west Brabant region. After a year, they moved to Boost in 2009, where they worked as a Senior Team Leader, leading field teams and delivering solutions to various clients. In 2013, Joep joined Bynder as a Sales Manager for the BeNeLux region, overseeing the rollout of Bynder across Europe and the US. Bynder is an online Brand Portal solution. After three years, they joined SAP in 2016 as an Enablement Account Executive, and in this role, they served until 2018. Currently, Joep is working at Software Improvement Group (SIG) as the Head of the Commercial Sector for BeNeLux. In this role, they lead the sales team, specializing in measuring software quality and providing actionable advice to companies for achieving the highest IT standards. Additionally, Joep briefly worked as an Account Executive for M&A at SIG in 2018.
Joep Mertens completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Business/Corporate Communications from Tilburg University between 2006 and 2010. Later, from 2011 to 2012, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Business/Corporate Communications at Tilburg University as well.
