Martin Boerman

Martin Boerman has extensive work experience in management consulting and software improvement. Martin started their career at Software Improvement Group (SIG) in 2014, where they held various positions including Senior Management Consultant, Medior Management Consultant, and Junior Management Consultant. In these roles, they provided management with fact-based insight into their IT situations and offered actionable recommendations for improvement. Martin also worked as a Research Intern at SIG in 2014. Prior to joining SIG, they worked as an Instructor at iGo Segway Events & Concepts from 2012 to 2014. Before that, Martin worked as a Web Designer and Developer at Auto- en Motorrijschool Sjaak Buijs from 2009 to 2013. Martin also served as an Education Informer at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam from 2009 to 2011 and as a Website Manager at Vereniging Van Psychodiagnostisch Werkenden from 2008 to 2010.

Martin Boerman has a strong educational background in the field of information science and studies. Martin completed their Master's Degree in Information Science/Studies from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) between 2012 and 2014. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Information Sciences from the same university between 2008 and 2012.

Before attending VU Amsterdam, Martin received their Gymnasium degree in Natuur en Gezondheid from Christelijk Lyceum Delft from 2002 to 2008.

In addition to their formal education, Martin has also obtained several professional certifications. In May 2016, they completed the Influencer Certificate of Completion from VitalSmarts. In October 2015, they acquired the Professional Scrum Master I certification from Scrum.org.
