Carlos Alberto Ruiz Naranjo

Carlos Alberto Ruiz Naranjo is a highly skilled engineer with extensive experience in FPGA development and integration. Currently serving as a Senior FPGA engineer at Software Radio Systems Ltd since December 2019, Carlos specializes in high-speed signal processing modules for 4G/5G using Zynq Ultrascale and RFSoC technologies. As the Founder and Main Developer at Teros Technology since August 2018, Carlos has created an open-source toolbox, TerosHDL, for HDL developers, boasting over 60,000 users. Previous roles include Senior FPGA/SDR architect at DAS Photonics, where complex FPGA architecture was designed, and FPGA and embedded systems engineer at AERTEC Solutions, focusing on defense project development. Carlos began a career in advanced technologies with internships in software-defined radio development at the Center for Advanced Aerospace Technologies and with the European Space Agency. Carlos holds a Bachelor in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad de Sevilla, completed in 2016.
