Umair Nazir

Umair Nazir has a diverse work experience in software development and engineering. Umair started their career at CsRadiant as a Web Developer from January 2014 to June 2016. In 2016, they joined FINCA Microfinance Bank Ltd, Pakistan as a Software Developer, where they worked on developing a customer relationship application using VB.Net and SQL Server until January 2017. Umair then worked at Focusteck from August 2017 to June 2018. Umair initially served as a Full Stack Developer in Codeigniter, working on front-end development using HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap, and scripting with jQuery and JavaScript. Umair was later assigned as a MEAN Stack Developer, where they worked on a medical videos portal for students, adding new features and fixing issues. In 2018, Umair joined DevFactori LLC. as a MEAN Stack Developer, specializing in Node.js, Angular, and MongoDB. Currently, they are working at SOFY AI as a Senior Software Engineer since May 2020. In this role, Umair is a Frontend Angular Lead and Project Manager, implementing best practices, leveraging Ngrx Store for state management, and working on backend services development using Node.js.

Umair Nazir earned a Matric degree in Science from Government High School Haroon Abad in the years 2007 to 2009. Following that, they pursued a Pre-Engineering degree at Government College Haroon Abad from 2009 to 2011. Finally, Umair completed their undergraduate studies in Computer Science, earning a BS (Computer Science) degree from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences in the period 2012 to 2018.
