Thao Ho

Community Volunteer at SoGal Foundation

Thao Ho has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2012, they worked as a Student Tutor at Troy Public Library. The following year, in 2013, they served as an Independent Contractor at Confucius Institute and also worked as a Civic Scholar at Troy University. During the same year, Thao founded an International Cultural Education Startup, where they educated children about various cultures. In 2015, they joined MobiVi as a Business Strategy Consultant's Assistant for a few months. In the same year, they co-founded CircleBi, a company that helps SMEs and startups apply data science to make data-driven business decisions. Thao continued their entrepreneurial journey in 2017 as the Co-Founder of iziBuy, a service that assists Vietnamese people in shopping for U.S goods. Lastly, Thao volunteered for SoGal as a Community Volunteer starting in 2016.

Thao Ho has a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in International Business from Troy University. This degree was obtained between the years 2010 and 2014. Following this, Thao pursued further education at the Communication University of China from 2014 to 2015. During this time, Thao completed a degree through the Confucius Institute Scholarship program focusing on Chinese Language and Literature. In 2017, Thao enrolled at Fudan University and completed a Master's Degree in Chinese philosophy, concluding in 2019.
