Chris Leahy

Chris Leahy is an experienced professional with a robust background in event management and engineering. Currently serving as the Events Account Manager at Sydney Opera House since 2008, Chris previously held several roles at the same institution, including Event Manager and Theatre Manager, from 1993 to 2007. Prior to this, Chris was the Company Manager at Opera Australia for a year. Chris's career began in the engineering field, working as a Professional Engineer at Australian Defence Industries and as a Design Draftsman at the Department of Defence. Additionally, Chris gained academic experience as a half-time lecturer at the University of Technology, Sydney. Chris holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Technology Sydney.
